Will my health insurance cover therapy?

I am in-network and will bill the following insurance plans:

  • Aetna
  • Premera
  • First Choice Health Network (FCH)
  • Kaiser Permanente of Washington
  • Regence
  • Medicare
  • Tricare (TriWest)

I am an out of network provider for all other insurance plans.  I do not bill other insurances.  Clients wishing to seek reimbursement from their insurance companies pay me directly and request reimbursement from their insurance plan.   Please check with your insurance company to see if you have an out of network benefit and how to request reimbursement.  I will provide a monthly receipt (superbill) to use when requesting reimbursement.

What are your rates?

I charge $160 for a 55-minute session.

Do you offer an initial free consultation?

Yes!  Deciding which therapist to work with is an important decision.  I offer a free 20-minute consultation to help determine if I am a good match for your needs.  Please email me or call me if you would like to schedule a consultation.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Please use the email contact form on the Contact Page to send me a secure message or use the "Request an Appointment" button to view my schedule and request an available appointment time.   I typically respond to inquiries within 24 hours.

My current schedule is:

Monday:  10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Tuesday:  9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Wednesday:  9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

What can I expect from therapy?

It's important that I understand your unique situation and needs. We’ll start with an assessment of your history and current symptoms and will then build a personalized treatment plan together.  I'll likely encourage you to do activities between sessions to accelerate your treatment progress.  We'll check in regularly regarding progress and modify the treatment plan as needed.   My clients typically report a reduction in symptoms and increased confidence in their ability to manage them successfully when they do occur. My hope is that every client leave treatment with a toolbox of strategies and skills they can continue to use even after therapy has ended.
